Our on-site team paint all fixed components of your kitchen cabinetry including end panels, plinths, cornice, pelmet and cooker hoods to perfection. We also spray pantry and laundry room carpentry.

We meticulously prepare, mask, prime and respray non removable components in your kitchen.

Our team use masking taper and masking tape to protect all surrounding surfaces such as the floor and adjoining wall.

For most kitchens the on site spray painting process is completed in a single day. We then take your cabinet doors and drawer fronts to our fully equipped spray-shop.

HOw does Kitchen Cabinet Door Renovation Process Work?

Your oak, hardwood, MDF or laminated kitchen cabinet doors and drawers go through a rigorous 3 step renovation process.

Our spray painting team prepare, prime and top coat your cupboard doors and drawer fronts.

Our detailed door and drawer spray painting process includes:

Filling of old handle holes if we are replacing your old cupboard door handles for new.
Sanding, filling and further sanding to ensure a perfect finish (natural wood grain is not filled and smoothed)
Masking tape is applied with precision to protect glass and any other areas not being sprayed.
Primer is appled to kitchen cabinet doors using airless, air assisted spray painting equipment.
Fine sanding followed by a visual inspection to ensure a flawless finish.
3 layers of top coat is spray painted onto the doors and drawers
Drying of the doors and drawers in our drying room
New handle holes are measured with precision and drilled (if required)
Final inspection is carried out by our spray team leader.

How long does a Kitchen Respray take?

A kitchen respray takes 5 working days to complete.

Day 1/2 – On site spraying
Days 2-4 – Workshop preparation and spraying
Day 5 – We reassemble your kitchen cabinetry

Your kitchen is fully usable while throughout the cabinet painting process (with the exception of day 1 while we carry out the on site spraying)
